Years ago, an unexpected layoff from my job in the apparel industry led me to pursue freelance graphic design full-time. As the years passed I wanted to combine my love of two-, and three-dimensional artwork with my knowledge of graphic design. I discovered surface pattern design and was immediately hooked. I dove right in and learned from some of the best in the industry. It’s been an extremely rewarding line of work!

 
 

I love combining all the different aspects of my life and surroundings to create designs and products that people use daily in their homes.

A bit more about me:

I’m extremely nostalgic, and the experiences of my life and travels heavily influence my work.

Growing up in southern Appalachia, my childhood world was full of flowers, fabric, vegetable gardens, and all sorts of creativity.

Nowadays, life in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains with my husband, our sweet chocolate lab, Porter, and our rescue pup, Bonnie Lass, is full of inspiration and space for creative exploration.

Another huge influence on my artwork has been my travels. My favorite visits so far have been Scotland, and Northern Italy.
